Last entry was boring!

So this one will be interesting! (er)

I've realized I have no way of uploading pictures because my iTouch charger that I bought for the wall only charges from my computer.. it doesn't seem to be recognized as a device to upload pictures from.. soooo.. that stinks...

AND the only method I have of uploading pics for my digicam is via memory card and I don't have a slot for that in my mac.

boo!! So alas I must visualize my experience through videos. But that's fine because pictures that move are fun.

I finally got my class schedule. I am working now (woah) but not really really because today was a holiday for a Saint whose name I can't remember (bless Catholic Spain) so I've only worked 2 days at the Instituto.. and I don't work on Fridays. SO, one more day and then the weekend :-)

One professor at my school (they are all great by the way) invited me & the other auxiliars at the school to come play tennis with his family at what sounded like Spain's version of a country club any coming weekend, and I might give him a call. I'm trying to have as many different kinds of experiences here as possible and I like tennis and he's just unbelievably nice.

I went hiking this past weekend in Los Cotos and it was BEAUTIFUL! (you'll see clips in the video I'm going to post)

What else what else...

OH!!! I'm moving. That's big news. My roommate Pablo is still great, but aspects of the piso (lack of sunlight, stuffiness, darkness, low ceiling) were getting to me and I ended up finding a piso in Malasaña, literally like a 6 minute walk from my current piso, with 2 Spanish girls. The piso is still pretty small but there is LIGHT!! And it is adorably decorated and the girls are so nice, and it's only about 25 more euro a month, and there is access to the roof. Right, there is access to the roof. It's where everyone dries their clothes and it's beautiful up there, you can see the whole barrio of Malasaña, neighbors' terrazas and roof decks. It feels like you're in a small town, not a huge city like Madrid. I'm excited.

I really should go to bed now because it's 2:30 am and I have work tomorrow. I really need to get a new phone plan because I got the cheapest pay-as-you-go plan possible but money just goes.. so I'm going to look into a contract plan. I dunno. All these móvil contratos really confuse me but hopefully I'll figure out something that will save some dinero.

Here's a video!!

song: take on me by a-ha

love ya'll
